Data Restriction in Security Group Functional or Technical Bulk SQL Scripts – IBM Maximo

To implement Data restrictions, we have to options:

1. Functional Side, front end, one by one
2. Technical Side, by using SQL editor, bulk loading

Customize Data Restriction for specific Security Group or groups according to your needs, for which data to be shown or access to security group.
Conditional Expressions are necessary to define and apply before Restrictions.

Increase list of display applications in "My Recent Applications" - IBM Maximo

Increase list of display applications in "My Recent Applications"
Navigation: Goto> System Configuration> Platform Configuration> System properties

"webclient.maxRecentApps".

Default value is 8.
Increase/decrease the value and save the record. Click on the 'Live Refresh' and click Ok.

The property will now be updated.

If you want to disable this option. Set value to 0 and save the record. Click on the 'Live Refresh' and click Ok.

Update/Modify Maximo Welcome Message at Login Page and Start Center - IBM Maximo

Change/Modify Title of Maximo Login Screen to differentiate production, test, development environments.

And also change the Welcome Message on Top Left of Start Center Screen.

Toggle Maximo default Enter button Behaviour to add new line by using Maximo System Properties

Goto > Systen Configuration>  Plateform Configuration > System Properties

System Properties :  webclient.defaultbutton
Default Value :     1 or 0         1 means ENTER KEY to insert NEW LINE, 0 to disable ENTER key functionality

Reset Maximo User Password using SQL | IBM Maximo

first of all, get the encrypted password string of maxadmin user, where password is 'maxadmin'

SQL> Select userid, password from maxuser where userid = 'MAXADMIN'

output :
USERID PASSWORD
--------- --------------------------------
MAXADMIN x'10FE6F4650B2ACB49A2121D7E6133E64'

Now update user's password with this string, so that the password would be same like maxadmin's password
