Delete Outbound Error Messages from Message Reprocessing Application | IBM Maximo

Deleting error messages requires two actions.

First the DELETEFLAG must be set to 1, then the status changed to RETRY.

Both of these are done transparently when deleting a message in the Message Reprocessing application. In an escalation they must be done in the correct order.

Warning: Be very careful when using this escalation to delete held messages. If valid transactions are sent in while this escalation is active, and they fail due to a correctable error, they can be deleted.

In the Escalations application, create a new escalation.

Applies To: MAXINTERROR

Condition: status=status='HOLD' and queuename = 'jms/maximo/int/queues/sqout'

Add an escalation point and check the Repeat box.

Add an action. Use the lookup arrow to Go To the Actions app to create the Action.

Create a new Action with the following values:

Object: MAXINTERROR

Type: Set Value

Value: 1

Parameter/Attribute: DELETEFLAG

Save and Return with Value to the Escalations application.

Invoke/Call a Publish Channel Conditionally - Automation Script | Maximo

Normally trigger point for the Publish channels is Event Listener, which is save/update any record.

Question: Can we send the data using publish channel with a custom trigger point /condition ??

Answer: Yes you can. by using Maximo Automation Script.
Below is the simple tricks to call a publish channel

server = MXServer.getMXServer()
userInfo = mbo.getUserInfo()
whereClause = <CONDITION>
server.lookup("MIC").exportData("<Publish Channel Name>", "<External System Name>", whereClause, userInfo, 1000)
---------------------------------
Another example:
micSrv = MXServer.getMXServer().lookup("MIC")
server.lookup("MIC").exportData("MXPO", "LegecyApp", " ponum='"+vPONum+"' and revisionnum="+vREVNUM , micSrv.getNewUserInfo() , 1)

Note:

Mic is old service name for MIF, but still the same name

Check Budget with Oracle ERP Through Publish channel and set flag 1 or 0 on PR and PO.

Check Budget with Oracle ERP Through Publish channel and set flag 1 or 0 on PR and PO.

Create End point for publish channel that needs to be used for Publish channel with ERP.

Publish Channel Endpoinnt = MEP

Define external system and publish channel for outbound transactions and Enterprise Service for inboaund transactions

Publish channel  = BDGT_CHECKINTERFACE
Enterprise Service = BDGTCHK_POINTERFACE

once everything is done for integeration side
Send request to ERP through automataion below.

create script with action launch point.
object = 'PO' , object = 'PR' in launch points.

Schedule this Batch to Download via FTP | Windows

We can use Linux-based utilities which are more secure and available for windows, like "wget" and "WinSCP" which is also a good option, but I preferred to stay in windows using the default old FTP command. Or we also can use Powershell instead of the old command-prompt-based batch file.

Anyhow, below is just one windows command using echo to redirect the text in a file and then the file will be called by FTP.

Just Run or you can write this command in a batch file to schedule.

cd /d "C:\Users\AQ\INTEGRATION\download"

echo open 10.152.30.229 >> ftp.txt & echo user myuser mypassword >> ftp.txt & echo binary >> ftp.txt & echo get "filename.dat" >> ftp.txt & echo bye >> ftp.txt & ftp -n -v -s:ftp.txt & del ftp.txt

1. 1st line is the path, where you want to download.

2. Replace myuser and mypassword with the real FTP user credentials.

3. This script will create a file ftp.txt, and at the end of the line: this file is called by FTP before deletion.

Note: Security concerns: username and password are written here.

We also can use power sh

Import Data into Maximo using INTERFACE tables MIF – IBM Maximo

First of all, we need to have interface/intermediate tables to import something into Maximo from an external/3rd party database. Suppose we want to import some inventory data or for instance we try to figure out with a real example. Let’s assume we need to import data from a legacy application into Maximo. That legacy application is actually an inventory issuance system already implemented somewhere, we have to integrate it with New Maximo Inventory system.
MATRECTRANS tables is actually the main table to
To import data into Maximo, few steps are required to configure step by step.
1.            Object Structure (OS)
2.            End Point (EP)
3.            Enterprise services (Inbound or to import data) (ES)
4.            Publish Channel (Outbound or export data, we will not use in this case) (PC)
5.            and Combine above all into an External System (ExS)
6.            Generate Interface tables
7.            Configure Cron task for Scheduling (CT)
8.            Done. Now insert data into Interface tables and Maximo will read as per given schedule in CT.
